bAbySiTTiNG whO'S aMBien GirL thE????

Ummm. Yeah. Who is babysitting the Ambien girl? Sorry about the post from last night. Honestly, I take my medicine and go directly to bed and then??? Well, I can NOT remember much, or anything at all sometimes.

Not taking my medicine is not an option because of my Fibromyalgia. My life comes to a painful screeching hault without sleep, and zolpidem guarantees that I'll be able to function in my daily life. It's the nightly life that I'm worried about!

Due to the medical necessity of me taking my medicine, my family is on strict orders to direct me back to my bed if I get out. I give notice every night of when I'm taking my med. I guess they think it's funny and nothing really awful happens, so they aren't too concerned about their job. Well, I happen to think that crazy blogging is a little stressful. Well, the morning AFTER is a little stressful...

And, I have not mentioned that I also EAT during these sleepwalking episodes? Dry cereal mostly. And otter pops. I see the crumbs or find the wrappers next to my bed. Luckily, there's no calorie damage with these drug induced choices... but I think it's obvious that it could end badly.

This is just a rant. Hopefully we're close enough friends that if you notice some crazy talk, and check the time stamp on my blog, you'll know exactly what's going on and just laugh about it??? I think you will... I'm just hoping I'm not the only one who can tell the difference... ;)

  1. My mom used the take Ambien. She would get so loopy! I was talking to her on the phone one night and she was slurring her words. I told her maybe she should go to bed. She said " I am in bed " and sounded like she was drunk! Not to worry about the funny posts...we all love you!

  5. Yup. I just laugh. It is so sweet sometimes and for some reason, I can understand what you are saying. Weird. Sort of Alica in Wonderland weird.

  7. Just stay off E-bay. I'm sorry, but I find it funny that your family enjoys you so much in your altered state. Maybe you should set up a video camera and see what all the fuss is about.

  8. I love ya - Ambiened out or not! I did laugh and I knew exactly what had happened. My mom takes it too. She also eats and shops and has lots of sex. Yes, (much to my dad's enjoyment) & they tell everyone - THAT'S a fun conversation at the family BBQ's!!!!

  10. He-he as long as it's nothing crazier than late night posts, we're good with it. That Ambien post was more interesting than a lot of my non-Ambien ones.

  13. Hugs. I've not been reading your blog long, so didn't notice, but I have sometimes had to do the Ambiem thing, and wow, yes, it does kind of wipe your memory. I've had mornings where I find evidence of things I've said and done that I've completely forgotten about.

It's freaky for me, that knowing you did, but then forget it.

Your family are wise in getting you to get back to bed, lol, and you are so lucky they care.

But as a non-long-time reader, I am pretty sure you post sounded fine to. We all vent a bit now and again.

Hugs, you are a person I really admire for your honesty
