The hardest thing I've ever shared...

So, with all the back and forth about whether to have surgery or to not have corrective surgery for loose skin... all I have to say is that if you NEED it, you won't be wondering if it's right for you. It won't even be a decision. It's a necessity. My fat has been holding me back for too long, and it's sad that this is the reminder I'm left with. It keeps me from feeling completely healthy. It's still a hinderance to my daily activities. It gets worse with each ounce I lose. I can't bring myself to post the side view, this is sadly the least embarrassing of the bunch. I know I can tone my arms and legs, but that abdominal skin? Well, I don't think many will disagree that this needs to be surgically remedied. Thanks for all the well wishes. I wish health and happiness to every woman, especially you my friends. Cheers to us. Love you all.

  1. Thank you for sharing it. This touched me deeply because mine is almost identical. (I'd be happy to share a photo with you.) I can not wait to see the results from your surgery. You are going to look great! You are doing the right thing.. I agree, that is not something you can tone up. Best wishes for a smooth surgery tomorrow,
    Jen

  5. You are awesome! I know that I'll NEED a body lift to complete my journey...just don't know if I do it before babies or after...maybe some before and some after. Who knows.

Thank you for sharing such a personal picture. I know it takes courage. I recently posted my arm pictures, which was really hard for me.

  11. You are so brave!! It's something I am desparate to do when I'm to goal. My stomach and arms literally look like they belong to an 85 year old. I'm 37. I'm sending you so many good thoughts and will be following you closely. Good luck!

  20. Just reading back through your blog and want to thank you for sharing those pics. I never would have guessed that under your clothes you had so much skin. Good for you....did you have just the skin removed or did you get the muscles tightened too???
